CD2. Small/Medium Business and Non-Profit Forum

Target Audience: Technology decision makers in SMB, Non-Profit and K-12 

This program is focused on building a stronger, more resilient community. Small Businesses and non-profits are foundational elements that have been targeted by schemes, scams, and attacks over the past few years. 

This half-day (no sales pitch) event will focus on creating awareness while building bridges between our SMB/Non-profit communities and community organizations that provide year-long content and support around topics impacting Technology and Cybersecurity.  

Attendees will enjoy talks from key leadership in our region. Security awareness training, and discussions on topics impacting the security and longevity of their businesses and causes. Deep dive on topics like cybersecurity insurance, and what resources that can help build resilient organizations. RMISC will also introduce community organizations, businesses, and individuals who've made it their mission to help you strengthen yours.

  • CyberSecurity Awareness Training - Provided by the National Cybersecurity Center (https://cyber-center.org/
  • Navigating Cybersecurity Insurance, and why is it so difficult to get it?
  • Interactive Round Table Discussions with facilitators from NCC/PPSBDC/ISSA/ISC2
